no problems yet. we use it as a regular camera most of the time, handled a variety of swimming pool encounters throughout the summer with no problems. I have not been super careful about rinsing it after pool use, but doesn’t seem to be an issue.

No, have not any problems after 10-12 underwater uses. Seems pretty solid to me.

I read alot of reviews saying that tis camera..isnt waterproof as mentioned..and that after a few times usage..water damaged the display screen..
I wanted to buy this camera but i was wondering if this had happened to u?

Thanks. I don’t really use the modes anyway. My little Nikon has a sunset mode and all it really does is cast a reddish/orangish tinge over everything. I’m guessing the underwater modes do the same? Probably just colour enhancers for the environment.

The underwater modes are only for photos, there is just a single video mode that cover wet and dry land. I didn’t find a huge difference using the underwater photo modes vs regular photo modes.

cant tell but you seem a bit deeper than 10ft, how far down have you taken it? trying to decide between the 6000 and 8000
