   There are some toy ones out there with fixed focus lenses and very low pixel count sensors (1.3 to 3 mp).

   True P&S cameras that are both real cameras and waterproof cost in excess of $200.

   you should be able to get the Olympus Stylus 550 wp for about that price. i use that camera, it is rugged, was out today taking pictures of hail storm. it does not come with memory card, you will need to purchase an xD card. and if you really plan on taking it in the water, consider getting the bouyancy strap so it doesn’t sink if you let go.
