This makes framing underwater easy and fun. Since the camera has exposure compensation functions, you have some control balancing the available light to strobe light. These features along with macro capability of 3.9" make the DX-1200HD an ideal choice for underwater imaging.The kit includes one Sea & Sea YS-27DX strobe designed specifically for digital cameras. It synchronizes with the included fiber optic cord for a flood free connection. Lightweight and compact, this is the perfect strobe for the Sea & Sea DX-1200HD and other small camera systems. The fiber optic cable transmits light from the camera's built in flash to the slave sensor on the strobe. This full featured strobe offers exposure control with a 9 step manual control dial. All you need to do is set your aperture to match the number on the control.
