If the nex-7 was 16mp, I would go for it so fast. 24mp, I don’t need. And it makes the pixels way smaller.

Will the NEX-5N come in a kit along with a 16mm LENS like how the SONY NEX-5 did? And if so, when would that be available and for how much?

@sgnl
The weight is very important for me also.
Less weight = More flight time, more power reseve and more safety.
The money is not that issue, i just dont whant to had to buy another camera after a bad choice.
The big question for me is: Will A65 , A77, Nex 5N or Nex 7 have the same active stabilization performance of HDR-XR 500V or XR-CX700V ?
I will get the Nex 5N if it will give me the same video the A65 or the HDR-CX700V.
What do you think ?
Best Regards.

Hello
I use cameras on RC helicopters, and i was waiting for 1080 60P.
The most important point for me is the image stabilization for high frequency vibration. I have a good experience with Sony HDR-XR 500V, which have the best stabilization until now.
I whant to move for 1080 60P, what do you think is the best option?
Sony A65, A77, Nex7 or HDR-XR 700V ?
If A65 or A77 is the best option, should i use camera internal stabilization or lens stabilization ?
Weight is also a concern.
Thanks

@Swemba No I’m not saying that at all. I have no idea how the video will compare. The GH2 is largely considered to have the best quality video from the DSLRs already out, even though it has a smaller and older sensor. So it will depend on how much attention sony have given to improving the video.
December 26th, 2011 - 07:20
@titaniumslug Ok even though the sensors are physically the same size your saying that VG20 and A77 video will look no different than A55 video? Sorry, but the Canon 7D has better looking video than a T2i.

Finally a compact, stylish, and performance DSLR with a view finder. Thank you, Sony. Love the NEX-7
December 26th, 2011 - 08:32
@Swemba The A77 doesn’t have a larger sensor. They are both APS-C sized. Sony has 2 full frame DSLRs but they don’t have video. You would need an E-mount to A-mount converter to use your Alpha lenses with the VG-20. There is talk that the a77 doesn’t have full HD output via HDMI, but its to soon to be sure yet. If you check eoshd that information should come to light soon. The likely differences might be with the HDMI out and audio inputs.

Here is the big question. I already have Shoulder rig, Mattebox, focus wheel, external LCD, etc.
Which camera to I buy? The A77 or the NEX VG-20? I’m leaning A77 because of larger sensor, lower price, and I already have Alpha lenses.
Anybody have input?

One thing I’m curious about regarding the NEX-7 is if it has any form of weather resistance. I’m also curious if this could work for someone who is considering a camera like the D7000 or the EOS 60D. Thanks.

A full episode on each camera would be nice…
