Hmmm I didn’t get a glass lens in front of the shutters? Lucky I bought a kit of products and could use a UV lens. Also, the CD loaded on my computer but did not show up anywhere where I down load a video. It didn’t have a load up feature or do anythng. I wonder if I got caught up in a scam?
@KspDtKK Yup good thinking i compared with all sony handycam’s before i made my purchase and i gotta say the XR160 is a good choice
i use it now with all my unboxings and tech videos and i have to say its a great camera very easy to transfer your videos and photos to your computer via built in usb cable.
And one more thing what attracted me to this camera is its great zoom it reaches the moon hehe
@SamTheeGeek But dude…almost everywhere u can find tv or pc or u can just show the footage from the camera screen…The projector is cool but when u think of it…it consumes a lot of battery and its not that useful …and also if u wana add more memory u gotta pay and that makes it the same price as xr160, And 160 hard drive is pretty cool i guess. What do u think ?
@KspDtKK Well ofcourse the one with the projector has a useful feature that you don’t need a tv to view your recordings, which is actually great but ofcourse you wont get the display quality a tv would give ya
comparison between both ofcourse you get
built in flash on the Projector one which the xr160 lacks in
160GB on the xr160 and upto 32GB on the projector one ( ofcourse you can add a memory pro duo on both )
as of HD video they both got the same specs and same MP
Okay, I have one coming in the mail, so lets hear how the new camera is doing so I can get the full scope on how to get the most out of the Sony HDR-XR160 HandyCam.
