  1. Bad documentation and a digital picture frame that can’t handle an edited jpeg? That’s almost inexcusable at this price. And when copying files to the frame from my computer it makes two versions of the file, a working version and a version that produces the lightning bolt display on screen. I then have to go into the frame Menu and delete the corrupt duplicates. A lot of work to just copy files to a digital frame.

  2. Thanks for replying. I tried jpegs, tiffs, etc…didn’t matter. It seems as if I’ve found a work around to the files not being recognized by the digital picture frame. I have to open and resave the files after I’ve edited them in Photoshop.I’m using the applcation Graphic Convertor for this process.Sony should say in their manual that if a photo is worked on in Photoshop it won’t be recognized by this frame.

  3. @porkrollsammy What is the file format that you export to? And what is the method that you are using to place the photos into the frame?

  4. Do you know the work around for images that have been edited in Adobe on a Mac not showing up on these digital screens? Sony seems to be ignoring this problem.

  5. @235tanas The videos are transferred the same as pictures, however, check your settings. Within there, you can set how long you want the videos to play for (say 10 seconds, 30 seconds or the entire video)

  6. Very informative . Just got the Sony S frame. Would try out the options.
Although one question, How do I manage my videos in this ?
