Refurbishing my Sony DSC-T1 Digital Camera
Refurbishing my Sony DSC-T1 camera from one I bought on ebay that had a new CCD put in it. Mine has been a great camera, taken over 18000 pics and now the motherboard, AND ccd were going out in it. This is my DSC-T1's new lease on life, as far as the old guts, i put them back in the donor camera and it works the same as before, like on its last legs.

What part of the flash shocks you? I ordered a new CCD and want to install it myself… but I have gotten shocked by my camera before and it totally scared me!

dose the DSC-T1 zoom in & out while recording a video?

Right on!! I have a DSC-T100 with a broken battery door, and now because of your very detailed video, I can repair mines. Thank you, that was a huge help.

cool video, does anyone know if the camera will still work if you leave things like the flash and screen disconnected? I’d like to keep a similar camera intact but keep change the form factors, would be easier if I could leave the flash and screen out.

so old!!! I have TX1 now.

This seems so pointless, you put the old points in the donor, you might as well just transfered the HD/memory card to the other camera?!?! Sorry it just seems reallllly stupid./

btw…I have an extra LCD screen from the first gen IPhone, would that screen work if ever I need it? thanks!

There’s still time for those with a T1 to have it fixed by Sony with a 90 day warranty, even if you don’t have your original documentation. It did, however, cost me 20 bucks shipping. But, I hadn’t seen your video. Good though, for if I ever need to fix it again, I’ll come to your vid! Thanks Bunches!
