My HDTV doesn’t have DLNA. Does anyone know of a good set top box with DLNA that I can hook up to my HDTV that works good with this tablet?

Yes, you can use other-than-Sony-brand TVs. I can throw to my Samsung TV. You just need one that’s DLNA equipped.

This functionality does not work – I have the tablet, I have two modern DLNA enabled TV’s (both less than 6 months old) and a PS3 – NONE OF THEM ARE COMPATIBLE!
The documentation to sort this out is non existant too.

@TheCoolmandingo im sure it does, DLNA stands for Digital Living Network Alliance(thats what the sony store guy said) and when i use the dlna function on my vaio laptop to my ps3 i can play my music on my speakers that are hooked up to my home theatre system(it goes through my ps3 because my bravia tv is 2008 model and has no wireless fuction
)
