  1. The old Polaroid cameras used film. Polaroid digital cameras are just digital cameras with the Polaroid name. They don’t make prints from the camera like the old Polaroids. They are just plain digital cameras like other digital cameras.

That’s because Polaroid is out of business, but the owners sold the Polaroid name so other companies could use it.

Olympus did make digital Polaroids, that is digital cameras that could print on Polaroid film. There’s no more film for those any more and they’re not being made.

There is a new type of printing Polaroid using a technology called “Zero Ink.” However, the prints are very poor quality.
