How do you turn off the date/time stamp for a Polaroid i830 digital camera?

I've read the manual - no help there. I've checked the Polaroid web site - no help there. I called their tech support line and was on hold for half an hour - no help there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Sorry Peter, that won't work. When I bring that menu up, the only options I get are: resolution, drive mode, beep, and auto review.

  1. The instructions for turning off the date time stamp are as follows:

    1. Set the camera to Still Image mode
    2. Press the “M” button
    3. Scroll left or right to get to the time stamp icon, looks like a pie with a chunk missing over the top left corner of a square
    4. Press up or down to turn off

Edit: Are you sure the camera is in the still image mode? If it is, and you aren’t getting the menu, they you might not have the camera you think you do. I’d be very surprised if they left the menu out of one camera, or all of them. Not that it isn’t possible though…

One other thing you could try, take the batteries out and leave the camera for 2-3 days. This should “reset” the camera to the factory settings, where that option is probably disabled.
