How can I make a digital photo look like an authentic polaroid?
Without using photoshop elements or software (I don't have the time to go out and buy photoshop...plus I would only need it for this)
Is there any site that allows you to make a normal digital photo look like a polaroid print??

get a polaroid and shoot the original in full frame,there are “kits” or you make ur own foto booth w/ a cardboard box,etc.

If you have a windows computer, open up Movie Maker.
Insert the picture file, and go to video effects. There are a fair bit here, with some to make pictures look ‘old’.
Then, make the movie, run it, press (its near pause and F12 on keyboard). Go to Microsoft paint, paste it in, and wala you have your polaroid.

You can download Picasa from Google for free and they have lots of cool features including making it grainy or polaroid looking. I play around with Picasa all the time and it’s free.

most software made for photographers/photo’s have filters that would be perfect for what your doing(if that filter is available).

Yes! There is a site : )
Go to http://www.lunapic.com
When you go there, it will let you upload a picture
And select different effects/animations you’d like to see within the photo
Once you’ve found out what you’d like, just simply right click it and save as.
=]
Its really easy to figure out once you go to the site
