   For some weird reason sometimes the models are named differently in Europe vs US vs Japan. Canon has SD800 Elph in US and it’s called Ixus 850 in Europe. This one is TS1 in US / North America and FT1 in Europe. TZ7 in Europe is ZS3 in Americas.

   By spec sheet I meant the specifications, I meant to say that the CNET reviewer doesn’t have to be a rocket scientist to see that TS1 has a 28mm wide angle (which is extraordinary), the specs can be found at the manufacturer’s site or any webstore or review site.

   CNET reviews are useless… “This camera has a great feature set…”

   The guy doesn’t even do any review, just lists some general stuff about the camera that you can read in any spec sheet, he didn’t even mention that this lens has a wide angle 28mm which means you can get a wider coverage in indoor group shots (most Point-and-shoot cameras start at 35mm or 38mm in which case the shooter will have to take a few steps back to capture the same scene).
