Panasonic HDC-TM90K 1080p/60 Zoom Test
This is a zoom test I did with my new Panasonic HDC-TM90K Camera today at 1080p resolution and 60 frames a second. The clarity and sharpness of this camera are better than anything I've ever used before. I got in on a Black Friday sale and saved $200 on the price of it, which is awesome.

The stock light is pretty small for pitch black filming. I’d imagine for that, you’d want a night vision setup. It’s pretty much a low power but pretty bright LED light. The camera is good in low light situations when using that light, but in pitch black, you’d want something more powerful like the LightLINK Rechargeable Ultra-Bright LED listed on Amazon to really light up an area, or a night-vision attachment of some kind.

The light on this camcorder can be kept on during video right? Like for pitch black night filming? Thank you.

It works very well in low-light situations, however this camera does have an option to hook up external LED lights sources like the LightLINK Rechargeable Ultra-Bright LED that works with this camera for professional lighting.
You can hook up external microphones that block out the wind, but I haven’t gone through all the settings to find out whether or not the camera has wind cancellation on its own.

I am planning to get one. but i am concerned about the performance at night. how does it perform and is the camera LED light effective? also, does it have a wind cancellation option as in sony?

No, it actually zooms much faster. I could have done that whole thing in less than half a second. I purposely did the zoom as slow as I could so people appreciate the distance I was zooming.

is this as quick as it zooms in and out? seems kind of slow. im looking into getting a camcorder for auto racing and it would be hard to zoom in and out on a car going by with the zoom that slow.
