Can someone please answer a Panasonic VDR-D210 Digital Camcorder software question?
Can the factory DVDfunStudio editing software for a Panasonic VDR-D230\310 be used with a Panasonic VDR-D210? Panasonic tells me it can and then Panasonic tells me it can't. Who has the definitive answer so I know whether to order it?
The 230\310 has an SD memory card slot and a USB port. The 210 does not. Will this make a difference?

I checked the Panasonic page for this software, and it specifies only the D230 and 310 models.
If the 210 has no SD card and no USB port, I am left wondering how the 210′s DVD video could be transferred to the software program. If the software cannot rip video from DVD, I would not use the program with the VDR-D210.
If you can get the video from the camcorder onto your PC in a common format (MPEG for example) you should be able to edit the video in most software programs. You will of course need to have a video codec on your PC matching the video file you’re trying to work with.
Good luck!
