I have an Olympus Digital Voice Recorder. The sound files are on my computer and the recorder itself.
How can I e-mail the recordings, and how can I post it on the net? I want some people to be able to listen to it, but would they need the software I have, or can it be changed into a WMA or Mp3 file?
Please be in depth as possible and cite any sources.

Hi there,
I have a digital voice recorder also and you should be able to convert the files to a common format for your friends (mp3, WMA, etc…).
Your software for your voice recorder is the key here. Hopefully (very likely) it has an option for ‘converting’ the file format. The Olympus website shows many models that actually record directly into WMA format, so that is a good sign. Once it is converted, you can ‘attach’ (which you can do with any file type) and send in an email to your friends, and share it online with the world.
Best Wishes….
