  1. Yes, always use 5 seconds or shorter for the smoothest time lapses.

  2. do we also use 5 sec if we want to take time lapse of clouds moving ?

  3. I just wanted to know xd

  4. Uh, yeah, modified by Nikon, but what do sensor manufacturer have anything to do with time lapse?

  5. Nikon D3X has a Sony,s sensor?

  6. Um, it’s just a camera. I think you’re better off saying “New York Yankees Rules!”

  7. Nikon D3 rules !

  8. Dark corners is as known as vignetting and it is perfectly normal because all lenses have it at the highest aperture(s).

Simple stop the lens down by a stop or two and it will go away.

For 70-200mm ƒ/2.8G AF-S ED-IF VR, stop the lens down to F/4.0 instead of F/2.8, the vignetting will disappear like magic.

70-200mm on DX won’t need to be stopped down due to DX cropping but on FX / film bodies, it have to be stopped down to F/4.0.

However, it is easily repairable if you need to use F/2.8.

  9. thanks once again. well done. I have a question regarding dark corners on my 70 -200(VR I). can you shed some light on that? (no pun intended). am i using f stops that are too large? I notice the dark corners on smaller f stops than 2.8 (hardly use 2.8)

  10. well, duh, read the video description or watch last 5 seconds of the video

  11. The music sounds like My Favourite Things.

  12. awesome!
