February 22nd, 2012 - 21:50
ya although ive talked with a d3s owner and he told me you cant go over
6400 and exspect noise free images yes the images are cleaner than the d3
and that means its the best camera for noise control on the the market to date

@HMFRiverdale What did I say?
February 22nd, 2012 - 23:01
@ver3547 Clearly you don’t shot hs athletic or you won’t make your ISO comment.
February 22nd, 2012 - 23:52
@ver3547 it’s not all about dim light. sports photography needs very fast shutter speeds so the iso has to be high even in good lighting. if you use 6400 on d3s you’ll have less noise than 6400 on other cameras.

@spongebens I was expecting them to share a gaze, lean forward and kiss, then bum each other in 720p to test the cam and also bum with the lights off to see how good ISO 102,000 really is.

indead the amount of shots ive seen people (including myself) miss by fiddling with the camera. Get the shot! Stop faffing there isn’t a dslr that’s been out in the last 5 years that wont give you amazing photos let alone pro slrs.
People need to stop being lead by marketing and go out and use their cameras
That being said, i am buying one of these next year for good reasons viewfinder size (i manual focus) FX sensor (for less dof and using my glass) and iso performance.
peace
Brian

There’s a photojournalist saying, “f/8 and be there.” Content first.

when rotating the mark IV to portrait position either left or right, it will automatically adjust the selected focal point to the correct position chosen. no more have to readjust the focal point….about time.

nikon keeps making mistakes as of early 2008. too many bodies that are closely the same. for the price, the canon 1d mark IV at a launch price of 200 dollars less gives you twice as many USEFUL features. One thing Nikon does right that I wish Canon would adopt is the awesome high ISO limit feature. Finally with Canon’s camera a must have feature is finally put to use.

Low quality pictures have been used in the past, yeah that’s the past. I don’t think media publication will accept a resolution lower that 8 megapixel coz many magazine publication is very picky now a days coz they want the best quality pictures to publish on their magazines and they care about other technical details like ISO and MP etc.
