this camera is horrible……unless you consider changing ur battery every 6 minutes. right after this video was filmed he probably had to change the battery.

the L18 and L16 were recalled because if you insert the batteries backwards and apply a shock of pressure the heat will melt the camera’s right side.

u cant do that with this camera. record with adio then turn the adio off and add sound when you edit it. even windows movie maker has that capibility

I feel ya. I got this camera for with my Christmas money too. The only answer I can give you to this comment is that you have to use alkaline(sp?) batteries. The camera uses special batteries. when I first got it so it would constantly say batteries exhausted. But when you use the batteries it tells you to use (You can find it on the menu and click on what is somewhere along the lines of “battery” or “battery life”) it lasts longer. Mine has lasted 2 weeks without new batteries so far

I got mine and every minute it would say batteries exhausted, then I always took ood care of it and one day it says lens error and the lens wouldn’t come out. When I tried to put pictures on my computer there was no softare installation disc. And I blew all my Christmas money on this thing…..

make sure before buying this camera that you purchase lithium batteries! alkaline [duracell and some energizer] batteries will drain like the dickens.
