Introduction to the Nikon D90, Vol. 2: Advanced Topics

  • Nikon D90 Vol 2: Digital Camera Body DVD Video Guide Manual
  • Unleash the potential of your camera!

Product Description
The Nikon D90 camera can be overwhelming for new owners regardless of their experience.

With 44 custom settings, pages of menu options, and configurable buttons on the outside of the camera, new owners may struggle to understand which controls can improve their photography.

In this 107 minute DVD, Blue Crane Digital distills many of the important settings and provides real world examples and exercises for D90 owners. In addition, the presentation charts the path of your image from the camera, through post processing to a final print or being viewed on the web.

This DVD is broken down into four sections:
1) explanations of many custom settings and controls with real world examples and exercises
2) acquiring and maintaining the colors you see when you take the photo, including an introduction to color management and dealing with sub-optimal lighting sources
3) an overview, with examples of using Commander Mode and wireless remote speedlights
4) a short discussion of how to store and organize your settings, both in the camera and in your ritual as you prepare to shoot

This DVD assumes the viewer has a good overall understanding of digital photography and the basic controls on their camera.

The contents of this presentation are a logical extension of the Blue Crane Digital title: Introduction to the Nikon D90 Volume 1:Basic Controls. It is intended for intermediate to semi-advanced users.

  2. This is second in the series. It’s OK but a bit too over acted which can become a little unappealing. Never the Less it has all the info you need to operate the camera in an advanced mode.
    Rating: 3 / 5
