REVIEW: Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3
www.digitalhomethoughts.com Low price buy link tinyurl.com This is a review video of the Panasonic DMC-ZS3 digital camera. This is a 10 megapixel point and shoot digital camera with an impressive 12x optical zoom, starting at 25mm and reaching all the way to 300mm. That's a lot of zoom! It uses Secure Digital memory for storage, and is SDHC compatible, allowing for up to 32 GB cards to be used. It also takes 30fps 720p videos in either AVCHD Lite or MJPEG formats, has optical image stabilization, and you can zoom while shooting a video - a feature many comparable cameras lack. Please rate and comment on the video, and subscribe to our channel. Thanks!

@Dr4gondice It’s decent, but nothing is as good as a DSLR or micro-four thirds camera.

Wow you are like a Camera guru, thanks for the review =)
I wonder if this camera can take pictures quickly, i mean while walking just snap and it becomes alright not blurry? I dont know what that feature is called but that alot is very important for me ^^
Again, thanks Jason!

I’m thinking about getting one of these cause I only want to spend about 150. do you think it still mesures up?
November 23rd, 2011 - 06:40
@Veetina I have a Macbook Pro and it works amazingly. You just plug your SD card into your computer and you can import your videos in iMovie or play them from VLC.
.
If you don’t have an SD card reader in your Mac, just buy a USB adaptator and you’re all set
Good luck

Not compatible with Mac pc , I couldnt see my videos,, it has to be seen in a different format which is not easy to find!

@RandomMiscellaneous7 What matters is the speed of the card – this is denoted by “Class” on the front. Cards are Class 2, Class 4, Class 6, Class 10. If you’re recording HD video, a Class 10 card is highly recommended. If your card doesn’t say what class it is on the front, it’s old and slow. Buy a new card.
As for the zoom, that’s normal for it to be slower when you’re recording.

@Ballenxj I’m glad you liked the review, but the ZS3 is over a year old now and has been replaced by newer models…you’ll want to check the Panasonic site for more details.

ThoughtsMedia,
‘

red vehicles,

red clothes,
red maple leaf and two red lines on the canada flag,
redbull energy drinking,
any red in canada,,,
but why no red camera,,,
canada is a conflict law
November 23rd, 2011 - 09:21
@bestamerica That’s a great question. It was frustrating to have to get this camera from the USA…I don’t know why Panasonic didn’t think Canada should get a red camera.

I need this video instruction in Spanish
November 23rd, 2011 - 12:30
@fuac242 You need a video editor that can edit AVCHD Lite files. Are you on Windows 7? Then get Windows Live Movie Maker. If you’re on Windows Vista or Windows XP, then you’ll need to buy some video editing software that can edit AVCHD.

@ ThoughtsMedia. I recorded some video with this camera for the first time this weekend using AVCHD Lite and can’t figure out how to view/upload them on my PC. Looks great viewing on the camera but when I tried to use the PhotoFunStudio I couldn’t do it. Couldn’t view on Quicktime since it’s not recorded in Motion JPEG. Just trying to upload to my Facebook page.
Thanks!!!

Is it this camera made in Japan ?
November 23rd, 2011 - 14:34
@ThoughtsMedia as u can see i aint very good at editing videos on my channel so it would be ideal if i had one tht had YTOTU
November 23rd, 2011 - 15:26
@MarkieBhoy17 If you look at the specs, it does not have WiFi. So how exactly were you expecting it would upload your videos to YouTube? Besides, editing your videos before uploading them is always a good idea.
