why buy a camera to just take pictures when you can buy camera, camcorder, mp3, mp4 player, webcam, digital voice recorder and flash drive all in one!!? great for youtube for easy uploads as well
its the latest technology and at the best price.
take a look at my video presentation for more info and how to get yours.

I have recently purchased this camera and I am very happy with it! I especially love the shutter speed mode which is fantastic for capturing pictures of wild life.

Excellent quality for 8mp.
I always do big prints and they are just as good as those from my Nikon D40,so no problems there!!

Thank you very much for your reply!
P.S. I have to say I am tempted to get one such convenient device, but I would like to know more about the quality of the prints one can get from the pictures it takes.

I know. Most people never get past watching them on the screen or printing postcard-size pictures. But I would like to go for full-size prints. 12 times (4×3) the size of a 17″ screen. How about the quality of that?
7:48 pm on March 12th, 2010
I don’t see the problem.
How big do you wan’t your prints?
You will get excellent, sharp, colouful, prints up to A3 with no problem, and it is packed with features, with a superlative lens.
8MP is plenty, and anything bigger only adds to any percieved noise problems.

As for the presentation, it is too fast. One should speak a little slower so people could get all the points without too much of a listening effort.

Yes, noise IS the problem with Panasonic. I wonder if people there can read - the net is abundant of reviews speaking of this terrible issue, yet there is no improvement from one camera model to the next. Dang shame.
8Mp is also too little these days (year of the lord 2007, when the camera was released).
The good points: 18x optical and the diversity of accessories available - such as the Raynox DCR-250 2.5x Super Macro Conversion Lens or the Opteka 3.2x HD² Telephoto Lens.

I bet that image stabilizer comes handy with the 18x optical zoom!!!…Great camera I think better then the noisey Sony H9
