  1. @JohnLeeMD thats fair enough if you don’t want it,or will never need to use it, not to like it, but for some people who do a lot of travelling, who want to know the exact location photos where taken. It may also be useful to mac users, as you can view photos at specific locations on a world map, and if you take hundreds of photos on holiday the GPS feature will automatically show the location, instead of you having to put it in yourself, which I know from experience takes ages…

  2. @24d131 Well in that case, sure it’s probably worthwhile. But you can’t tell me that 99% of travelers face that type of situation. 99% of travelers do know where they are when they take/took a picture. So IMO, it’s superfluous to add a GPS feature (which from appearances, is looking to become standard on cameras) that is an unnecessary one. I don’t want anything on my cam that I don’t need. (FTR, I got a SD4000, which I love.)

  3. @JohnLeeMD In may I went to Swaziland in Africa, It was on a college trip we stayed at 4 different places and we travelled all around the country of Swaziland and a bit in South Africa. during this time we got lost quit a bit and at times the teachers didn’t even know were we where, however i found my self taking loads of photos the whole time as we found some beautiful places when we where lost, for that GPS would of been useful to know where the photos where taken… and I am not stupid…

  4. HOLD THE Mic closer to the dude talking you dumb twit.

  5. Screw the camera….show more of Kimberly.

  6. GPS is such a stupid feature. Who… when they go on vacation, can’t tell where they are at for a photo, when: a) you are the one visiting. How could you not know where you are at, and b) any time you do take pictures, they are pics within a bunch of photos you take. So after you take a set of photos at a locale and still don’t know where you are at, you are too stupid to own/operate a camera.
I don’t watn GPS. I want the ZS7, but not GPS.
