No, unfortunately, it doesn’t. Very few compact cameras allow you to zoom while recording video. Unlike camcorders, the zoom mechanism for a compact camera is motor driven, and the camera will pick up the noise of the motor if you zoom while you’re recording. For this reason, the feature is almost always disabled by the manufacturer.
