is this better than a cannon EOS 450D in terms of picture quality and how
fast is the shutter, would i be able to get a picture on the motorway with the cars lights leave a trail in a line of the colour

@2010unseen The HX7 has more zoom and the CMOS sensor so sharper low light images. However, the WX10 is smaller and would fit pockets with more ease. Spec and image wise, the HX7 is the one to go for.
