  1. Hi. I bought an Instax 210 and took one picture with it and it came out great. The next time I tried to take a picture, the shutter goes off, but the film does not come out of the top. I put in new batteries and a new cartridge of film and the black slide nor any film comes out. Please help as I really love this camera :/ Thanks!

  2. @mikekingdom2001 I would have it looked at my a Fujifilm service centre in your area.

  3. Sorry I have one problem. I turn on my Instax 210 have error message on the screen. And I take photo is dark. Last I found the iris diaphragm did not open.

  4. @fujiguys haha, thanks I was a ware of this. Its my great british sarcasm.

Maybe youre replying sarcastically tho ;)

  5. @sflwa This is not a digital camera. It is a film camera therefore USB cable is not used with this camera.

  6. Do you get a USB cable? :p

  7. @amyleemarie No Flash icon or Mountain icon = Auto mode. Flash will fire if required, if scene is bright, flash will not fire. Flash icon on = flash always fires (no matter what). Mountain icon only on = No flash

  8. @amyleemarie Basically, the Darken, Normal, Lighten settings are like Exposure compensation on a digital camera. It changes the exposures slightly by adjustment of the shutterspeed on the camera. If you select Darken, the shutter will be faster to reduce light getting to the film, if you choose lighten, the camera uses a slower shutterspeed to let in more light. So lighten = indoors, and darken = outdoors, Normal should be fine all the time and change if pics are too dark are too light.

  9. one more question (couldn’t fit it in the other post)….. when the flash bolt isn’t turned on or showing on the screen, does that mean the flash is supposed to be turned off? because i can’t seem to control if the flash fires or not. it’ll be on what i think is “off” and sometimes it doesn’t fire, but sometimes it does. thanks if you answer these questions :] i just want to know how to use this camera best before i take 100 more shots!

  10. these might be stupid questions since i’ve had the camera for 7 months now and have taken 100 shots. but anyway, do you use the L/Lighten function if it’s bright lighting outside/inside, or if it’s dark lighting outside/inside? and vice versa, do you use the D/Darken function if it’s dark outside/inside or if it’s bright outside/inside? hope that makes sense. also, when you press the flash button and the bolt shows, that means the flash is turned on right?

  12. @bbrocks1039 In Canada at least, check out the fujifilm canada website under Instax product page and click “Buy Online” on the tab. It will list several retailers for film. Othewise, please contact the Fujifilm office in your area for more information.

  13. where canu getthe film?

  14. @yizhouli Film can be damaged due to light leaking in. Keep them in a box for now and away from light. if it is only 1 film pack, place it inside the camera.

  15. @fujiguys The film was sent to me in March from overseas, so one of the pack of film was opened by the customs. (like literally opened down to only jusr the black case ToT!!) but i didn’t realise this until now, and i can’t use it for at least another few months ToT!! would that pack of film still work?~~>__

  16. @whaiver Normally, the Instax 210 is used for work, fashion samples, realtor, etc.. and the Smaller camera used more for recreational. That is why there is more of the smaller cameras.

  17. I getting one of these camera’s in the next week or so. Already have an older instax 20, really loving it. But was wondering why there’s only one current model of Instax Wide and 3 current models of Instax Midi? And there’s two instax midi instant backs for Lomography camera’s, maybe make a wide back for a Holga? Thanks.

  18. @Maithoty It really all depends on what size photo’s you want. The smaller camera produces smaller size photo while the larger camera produces of course, a larger photo. I like the look of the small camera as well as the small photo it produces personally.

  19. @fujiguyes what do you recommend the smaller or the bigger camera

  20. Thank you :)

  21. @cutiepie2469 Hi, Film comes out from the camera, you don’t have to do anything. Don’t remove anything as that is how the film is. Don’t shake the film, it doesn’t do anything (this is a myth)

  22. Once i’ve taken the picture do I face it down so that the black side is facing up ? And also once the picture is developed do I leave the black film on the back ? Thank you so much fujiguys :) x

  23. @scarlethati Pull/push the film out if there is no film inside the camera. If the problem persist and the film still gets stuck, contact your local fuji service centre. Message you from your other posting already on info to contact us.

  24. how can i push the roller to the top? the film won’t come out!
