@fujiguys Thank you for the help, i am just starting to get into the world of photography and videography.
October 28th, 2011 - 14:47
@nithia Yes. Then keep your subjects within that range in order to have them stay in focus.

@fujiguys So would it be a good idea to set a marker in front of the camera when i first hit the shutter to set that as my focal point and then continue from there and just edit out my marker?
October 28th, 2011 - 15:33
@nithia Hi, The camera does not continuosly focus during video recording. When you press the shutter button to start recording, it sets the focus at that moment. As you move subjects closer or away from you, they may be out of focus.

about a month ago i got the JX310 and i am still trying to learn how to use it for taking my videos the way I want. I make videos of reviews, conversions, and painting of table top war miniatures. It takes just awesome stills and I was just surprised with the color quality. But when I am taking video it seems to focus on my fingers when I am holding models up to the camera. and everything else is blurry. Is there an auto focus i can turn on or a macro i can use for video or only for stills.

@fujiguys Well, i just had 1.03 on the camera and it allowed me to downgrade to 1.02, but anyways the camera still works fine. But thanks anyways!.. Fujifilm for life!!

@JAVIERFSG3 Hi, It is not possible to downgrade firmware. If the camera allowed you to update the firmware, then you had an older firmware on the camera.

I just got this camera today from amazon. After a while i just went to the Fuijfilm webpage to download the latest firmware for my camera. I downloaded the Version 1.02. But i realized now that my camera had the 1.03 before, i just downgraded my camera without noticing what i was doing. I am a little bit worried about that, Is there any difference between those two versions? I hope anyone writes my back. (Ps: my camera still works good and everything, just that is downgraded now. )

JZ300: 10X Optical Zoom, Wide-angle 28mm lens, Dual Image Stabilization (Sensor Shift and High ISO)

jx200 vs jz300, i cant decide. the jz300 is better, but its £50 different and i cant find that many differences.
