Clips Taken With Casio EX-F1 Digital Camera Slow Motion FPS
Ok just to let everyone know these clips are not mine and neither is the sound. Im mearly just tyring to showcase what the abilities of the New Casio EX-F1 Digital 6MP HD Camera/Camcorder can do. The Casio EX-F1 Is cappable of shooting 1200FPS..yess that 1200 frames per second. It shoots video at full 1080 HD and has a hdmi out on the camera. According to several sources this camera should be coming out this month March or April but who knows when it comes to this type of stuff. The Ex-F1 is not an SLR. It merely looks and has a digital function ring that can give a near analog feel for adjusting zoom and focus manually. There is no revolving mirror within this camera. Just a shudder and super high speed CMOS sensor.

The internal mic isn’t all that great, but with the jack, the microphone you choose makes all the difference. There is no audio recorded during highspeed videos.

Im not sure how good the internal micrphone is but it has a microphone jack so i presume it does record audio

This camera does not do 1080 at 1200fps, that would be rediclious. The 1200fps setting is pretty much a novelty more than anything else, since you need a ton of light, and it records at an all too wide 336×96. Resolution is lower the faster the frame rate you choose.

so if i just use plain old iMovie HD and stuff to slow things down or maybe even my Final Cut Express.. It would do just as good as any other clip with high fps? huh? Program doesnt matter?

Its all about FPS..the original videos were crappy so its not that good resolution…there is alot better quality videos now….

Wow!! lol Do you need a special program for smooth slowmo? or its all on the FPS?
