CASIO – MIDI RECORDING IN GARAGEBAND – www.soundtechnology.com.au

In this demonstration, we will use the Casio CDP200 as a MIDI controller to record a quick song in garageband. Use your Casio keyboard or Casio digital piano as a MIDI controller. MIDI recording is EASY! - We'll show you how! Thanks to Cranbourne Music for letting us film this in their store. Visit www.soundtechnology.com.au for more Casio info.

  1. Not sure, but I don’t think so. Cheers.

  2. do those current $130 casio mini keyboard have midi out compatibility (I have a MIDI interface if that’s necessary)

  3. thanks bro…

  4. The LK300TV is not part of the ‘new generation’ series, so is not Mac compatible out of the box. You can get third party Mac drivers on line which will probably make it work. I know you can get them for the CTK810 / WK110 (old models), so there might be one for the LK300TV. Cheers.

  5. i have a lk 300 tv and its a casio but gargeband wnt detect it help plz

  6. The CTK810 is an older model and will not connect to a Mac out of the box. There are 3rd party drivers available for Mac on line if you hunt for them. If you’re using a PC with Sonar, you should be able to connect okay with the drivers that come with the 810. Not sure on the process as I’m a Mac user. Hope this helps.

  7. hi everyone,i just bough a casio ctk 810,can it use to connect to my lbtop and to use into sonar 8.5 and sample tank 2..?help please…thanks.

  8. Thanks i buy it and yes have the local function good keyboard

  9. I’ll look into this for you, but I’m pretty sure it’s only the CTK4000 and up that have the option to turn off the local.

  10. a question the CTK-3000 has local sound?

  11. Hi. The way to transfer songs you have recorded in the keyboard’s memory is to save them to an SD card (provided you have a model with an SD card reader). Once your information is saved to the SD card, put it into a card reader on your computer (these are either built in or you can get external units). You can then transfer the file from the card to your computer. The song will be in MIDI format.

  12. i have a casio keyboard and i want to know how to transfer songs i recorded on the keyboard to my mac? Please Help

  13. Sorry, not sure how it works with Yamaha’s.

  14. 5 stars dude but can you explain something to me so i have a yamaha s90 es keyboard and it doesnt have a synthesizer in it so what all do i need to be able to record music thanks

  15. The CDP200 digital piano is an excellent choice. It has all of the cool features of a keyboard with the benefit of the weighted scaled hammer action of a digital piano (same action as a real piano).

  16. Alright. I have have an Imac, I’m thinking of getting a casio to record some music for my dad.. would the cdp200 be a good choice? I want something that is good quality but not over 800$

  17. This will work with any MIDI recording software on Mac or PC. Should work find with Garage Band ’08.

  18. does this work with garage band 08?

  19. aha TOTO !
