Waterproof Simulation Test
DiCAPac camera cases were tested in two underwater locations: a 5-meter diving pool in Korea and at Sapang Beach in the Philippines, where it was mounted 18 meters beneath the water. At 5 meters, the camera performed perfectly, with all functions performing just as designed. It was more difficult to operate the manual camera controls at over 10 meters, because high water pressure was strong-arming the case. However, the case remained completely waterproof throughout. The waterproof tests indicate that the camera is protects from water, snow, rain, sand, and dust in daily life, but also functions well at the beach and in the pool.
The underwater case is compatible with the following Canon PowerShot digital cameras: SD100, SD110, SD200, SD300, SD400 SD430, SD450, SD600, SD630, SD750, SD770is, SD790is, SD800is, SD870is, SD1000, and SD1100.

I don’t know if the bag is water proof or not. I did not do the paper test. I could not get my Canon A650 IS camera into the bag. It was just too tight and the bag kept sticking to the camera. I do not recommend this bag for medium size cameras.

My wife and I were looking for a reasonably priced option for taking underwater pictures while we were on vacation in Bora Bora. The fitted underwater camera cases are nice but were expensive. Since we did not see a recurring need for an underwater case we decided to try the Underwater Pouch for $29. It is not perfect, but it turned out some great underwater shots with our Canon Powershot. I would definately recommend this to anyone that did not want to invest in a underwater case.

I was pleased with the price of this item. I was going snorkeling and wanted to take pictures without spending alot of money on an underwater case. This case allowed me to take pictures under water and is also good for protecting my camera when it is raining. For the price I find it to be a very good value.

Gave this as a gift to my girlfriend. The shipment came in as expected, but the camera itself is not snug in the camera, even though the company website says her camera would fit in the bag. Since its not snug many pictures/video get the black ring around it. Would be nice if they form fitted each camera. Haven’t tested it under water yet, only took pictures outside of it.
